Sr Building Inspector, grade 28, rate range per hour min $23.74 – max over a period of time $32.04, Final hiring rate determined during final step of interview process. Under general direction and supervision, administers and enforces building and zoning codes, condemnation codes, subdivision regulations, and ordinances: performs related work as required. Applicants must have a high school degree or GED, supplemented by 2 years directly related work experience: additional directly related education may be substituted for work experience requirement on a year for year basis. Applicant must possess at the time of hire and maintain the following as a condition of continued employment: a valid driver’s license, One and Two Family Dwelling Inspection Certification (Ky Dept of Housing) and Level I Building Certification (Ky Dept of Housing).
